Algorithm

Insertion loss is based on ASHRAE 2019 HVAC Applications Chapter 49 Noise and Vibration Control Table 39 as associated formulae.

When using the element, care will need to be taken with infinite length assumption, the effect of reflections and/or meteorological conditions on barrier performance.
